Vacation packing is an interesting concept!
Make sure you are ready and prepared!!
Try on your outfits before you pack them. Make sure you actually want to wear everything you pack and are excited to wear them, otherwise you are wasting space! And check the weather!
I typically pack based on how many days I'm there and what my plans are.
For example: 4 days at a resort with my family:
Pool
Day time activity
Dinner
So, I set aside 4 bathing suits and cover ups
4 casual day outfits
4 dinner looks
And then one or two extras, just incase.
Make sure you have your bag and shoe options that you want to wear with each outfit, otherwise you feel half dressed and uncomfortable.
Always bring a little jacket or sweater because some of us get sun burnt and are cold haha [always me]. Also, hotels are freezing- so in other words, just be prepared.
I hate feeling uncomfortable and not my best. And because I can sometimes be a poor planner, I occasionally feel that way.
Another important thing to consider is where you are going and with who.
What you will pack for Florida with your family is different than what you will pack for the Bahamas with your husband/boyfriend or for a girls trip.
Things I decided I do wrong on vacation:
I don't bring the proper hair tools- Like my 4 barrel waver and my dry shampoo. The Moroccan Oil Dry Shampoo is my absolute fav and I have tried them all!
I don't bring enough shoe and bag options because I want to conserve space but realistically, what's another pair of shoes or another bag option?!
I should also consider a spray tan before putting a bathing suit on for the first time in 7 months 🤪
I took some pics of some of my outfits on Spring Break: I loved them! Just wish I had brought more shoes haha!!
