So I finally am in the process of cleaning out my closet, and it actually feels so good to get rid of things!

A lot of you do this all the time and that's amazing but I know there's alot of "me's" out there!! Hoarders who can't let go of something because it reminds them of "this one night" or their rehearsal dinner or their kids first birthday party haha BUT we all must move on!!!

I'm writing this simply to help you let go of things you truly don't wear and don't even like!

These are some things that helped me let go and get started!

1. Start in one category and keep going! What I mean by this is- start with Jeans, the next day move to sweaters, then jackets, dresses and so on! If you try and do too much at once you will get overwhelmed and get nowhere! Also set a time frame for yourself so you don't drag it on!

2. Designate a home for these items! It helps me let go SO much knowing that I'm giving my things to people I love! You can also try and sell them or donate them! When I donate I email The United Breast Cancer foundation!

You can also sell your things on Therealreal or Poshmark!

When your closet isn't cluttered you can think clearer and create outfits easier because you can actually see what you have!

There are going to be things that you doubt, and I think that's totally normal!

I would move them to a spair closet or maybe fold some of these things and move them into your attic or basement. If you think about any of it when you're getting dressed then maybe it's not time to let go! If you don't even miss it then that's how you know!

Hope this helps!!!

XOXO,

Alina
